January 2024: What’s cooking?

When we say the last month has been wild… we mean it! January… you’ve been a month of real ups and downs.

Both of our horses lame (some far more than others - eek!), multiple child illnesses and some minor meltdowns along the way.

BUT… it’s not all been bad news.

January at EMC HQ has been busy and bursting at the seams. Planning, recording, scheduling podcast content like you’ve never heard before! Plus, aligning with potential partners for our dear followers and listeners - all to make your lives easier and that bit sweeter.

Just to show you that we’re not all smoke and mirrors here… we thought we’d round up some January numbers for you:

  • 31 - The number of episodes we’ve now planned and calendarised (not including the ones already released)

  • 18 - The number of countries we are now being listened to in (yikes!)

  • 8 - The number of introductory calls we’ve made to potential podcast guests (BIG yay!)

  • 7 - The number of podcasts we’ve recorded (with 1 on video!)

  • 4 - The number of planning meetings we’ve had!

  • 1 - The number of instagram lives(!) we’ve tried not to embarrass ourselves on…

  • 1 - The number of partnerships we’ve announced (with maybe more to come!)

  • Plus, much more that we’re still beavering away on behind the scenes!

It goes without saying that we really believe in the potential of this community. The potential for real friendships to grow, support networks to be made and for lives to be intertwined. Even if it’s only a handful of crazy equestrian mums, striving for positivity together… it’s absolutely worth it.

It’s worth the (very!) late nights, even earlier mornings… and the addition to our juggles! It’s worth the extra workload for Soph - already back to her day job, with childcare in a precarious balance. It’s worth the stolen moments at nap times and in between feeds for Katie - still on maternity leave, as Rafe is yet to turn 6 months.

Why? Because we know we can make a difference, right here.

February (& beyond!)… we are coming for you!
K&S xx
